Metropolis Events Menu Tasting

Food Imagine | 18.07.22

Where has the time gone?! It feels like yesterday that we hosted our last menu tasting at Metropolis Events for our Autumn & Winter couples. Because now we are in full preparation mode for our next menu tasting for our new Spring/Summer menu. This menu tasting is for all of our Spring & Summer couples (October – March brides) and will take place in August.

Metropolis Events Menu Tasting

There are so many benefits that come as a result of attending a menu tasting at Metropolis Events. The most obvious benefit is that you get to sample the new seasonal menu that will be served at your wedding reception, this will help you with your final menu selections. You will also have the opportunity to experience and view the venue in a wedding reception setting (if you haven’t already) which may help you with your styling or even influence it. All of our Metropolis Events team will be present during your menu tasting which will allow you to meet the team who are planning and executing your dream day and ask as many questions as possible. Lastly, you will get to network with other Metropolis Couples who are getting married within the same season as you (we had two couples meet at the menu tasting and become such good friends they attended each other’s weddings).

If you have never had the opportunity to attend a menu tasting, you may be wondering what it entails. Well, it is hands down one of the best events (besides your wedding ceremony/reception) that you can attend at Metropolis Events. Firstly this is no regular menu tasting, we go above and transform the venue to represent a wedding reception and we have different styling each year. We never do anything by halves so we set the entire venue, from the room’s layout, florals, and tableware to a ceiling installation (you know we love a chandelier or two).
